East Coast Chant celebrates the coming of Spring at The Black Indian Inn with a special focus on “Friends Making New” ~~ Together we will make new ways of being in the world by washing away misgivings and misunderstandings in all our relations with self and others; giving and receiving forgiveness in our lives; making fresh new spaces in our relations with self and others so we can Dance in a new way with the Soul’s divine expression of right relations .~~ Join us for Spirit-filled Music, participatory Chants, and a Healing Ritual that will jump-start the spiritual makeover you’ve been longing for.~~  Afterwards, we'll share an informal pot luck and our personal stories of love, miracles and healing.

Bring: a food item or non-alcoholic beverage that you’ve made or purchased with love if you'd like to share in the potluck. Note: Please arrive on time to experience the opening invocation.

Tonia Pinheiro is the founder of East Coast Chant. Tonia (tone-ya) is a seasoned and inspired vocalist, facilitator, intuitive healer, and Ascension Path practitioner.

Ukumbwa Sauti is an accomplished percussionist, vocalist and shamanic healer/seer who creates inspired acoustic and electronic rhythms, environments and sound atmospheres.

Mark Nathanson is a quiet, dynamic, multi-talented musician who offers seamless support, textures and rhythms with guitar and acoustic percussion.

East Coast Chant embraces you in a spiritual and social community through songs ~ various genres and styles both improvised and composed; chants ~ mantras, invocations and prayers from various traditions and cultures, and originals created by Tonia; dance ~ move, groove and express your soul through your body as you are inspired; spoken word ~ as poetry, commentary, invocation, guided imagery; ritual ~ inspired and intentional meditations, sound and healing journeys; mystery ~ unplanned, unexpected, transcendental social, emotional and soul experiences; playfulness ~ in whatever form it takes ~ inner and outer children welcome!

The Black Indian Inn offers lodging space and is multi-disciplinary meditation center & art gallery located at 38 Bicknell Street in Dorchester, MA near Boston's historic Franklin Park. Fire Keeper, Ebony Three Arrows, (a.k.a. David EbonyAllen Barkley) is a member of the Green Mountain Band of AniYunWiwa. He teaches Tsalagi (Cherokee) meditation as passed down through the Ywahoo linage under Principal Chief Dhyani Ywahoo, with Home Fire at Odali Utugi (Peace Village) in Lincoln, Vermont.
